ADMISSIONS

Our Admissions are based on :

Application form responses.
Entrance test (Except Nursery Class)
School reports
School interviews (Except Nursery Class)

The completed forms are to be filed & returned to the admission office, along with all supporting documents & application fees.

EVALUATION

We lay stress on continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) in the lower classes. Students are assessed on their reading, writing, verbal & overall skills. In the higher classes emphasis is laid on formal examinations. Unit tests are held for every subject & the marks are added at the end of the term. Following directives of CBSE, the school follows a Grading System.

TERMS AND VACATIONS

The Academic year runs from April – March.
The First Term runs from April – August.
The School closes for the summer break from 3rd week May and re-opens in Ist week July
The Second term runs from September – December
The School closes for the Winter break from 4th week December – Ist week January
And the Final term runs from January – March

The School observes all holidays notified by the Central Government and Bihar Administration.

ATTENDANCE

Every pupil is expected to have 100% attendance. In case of illness or absence, due to unavoidable reasons, parents are expected to submit a formal leave application.

CURRICULUM

The syllabi has been framed by the school with due regard to the curriculum frame work for elementary education prepared by the CBSE. English is the medium of instruction. The system of continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) is followed & students are given grades. Parents are informed periodically about the performance of their wards through ‘Open Days’.

COMPUTER EDUCATION

Keeping in view the strides made in Information Technology, we have made our best efforts to impart state-of-the-art technique in providing Computer education. The school has a well equipped air conditioned Computer Centre with Internet facilities.
